Lalitpur, Jan. 23 -- A man allegedly killed his mother-in-law by striking her on the head with a stone during a domestic dispute, police said on Thursday.
The deceased, Munni (50), wife of Ramswaroop and mother of Rashmi, resided in Devaran village. Rashmi lived with her husband, Sobaran Singh Rajput, in Karimnagar, Azadpura, under Sadar Kotwali.
According to reports, tension had been brewing between the daughter and son-in-law for several days over domestic matters.
On Thursday, Rashmi called her mother and relatives to help resolve the dispute. When the disagreement escalated and could not be settled, Munni attempted to take her daughter back to her home in Devaran.
