Mumbai, June 26 -- A 51-year-old businessman allegedly died by suicide jumping from the Bandra-Worli Sea Link on Friday official said .
The deceased, identified as Bhavesh Navinchandra Majethia, was travelling in a taxi and had reportedly asked the driver to stop on the Sea Link, citing nausea. However when the taxi stopped Majethia jumped into the sea, according to the driver. He informed the police and a search operation was conducted despite rough sea conditions. After several hours, Majethia's body was recovered.
According to the police, Majethia was under stress due to financial issues.
