Panchkula, Sept. 29 -- Haryana Police have arrested a man in connection with the abduction and alleged rape of a minor girl in Sirsa, a police spokesman said here on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Krishan Kumar, son of Shiv Dayal, a resident of Nathusari Chopta. He was produced before a court, which remanded him in judicial custody, the spokesman said.
According to police, the girl's father had lodged a complaint stating that his minor daughter had gone to school on July 30, 2026. At around 1.30 pm, the school informed the family that she had gone outside with two other girls to purchase some items but had not returned.
The family searched for her at relatives' houses and other places in the vicinity but could not trace her....
