Hazaribag, June 3 -- Police on Wednesday claimed to have solved the abduction and murder of a minor girl and her younger brother in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district with the arrest of a man accused of the crime.
Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar said the accused, identified as Sanjit Paswan, a resident of Sindoor under Korra police station area, was arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder of an 11-year-old girl and her three-year-old brother.
According to police, the children's father, Mohammad Amir, had lodged a complaint on May 30 after the siblings went missing from the Katkamdag area.
