Imphal, March 13 -- Manipur Police on Friday said a man involved in the abduction of a woman has been detained and the woman was rescued.
Police further said a video went viral on Mar 11 in which a woman was seen being forcibly taken away by some persons in broad daylight at Imphal East.
The woman was serving as a teacher. Police said a case was registered at Women Police Station, Imphal East, and an investigation was immediately initiated.
Further, during the investigation, it was found the woman teacher who was accompanying students was abducted by some persons by forcing her inside a car which has no number.
Police further said the accused was identified as Md. Habibur of Yairipok Changamdabi the husband of the victim. He was arreste...
