Nahan, March 20 -- A truck rammed into a parked car on the Dehradun-Chandigarh National Highway near Dhaula Kuan in Sirmaur district on Thursday evening, a police official said.
District Superintendent of Police (SP) N. S. Negi stated that the truck driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. An FIR has been registered against the accused at Majra Police Station.
According to the SP, the incident occurred around 7:00 PM. The deceased has been identified as Virender Singh, son of Guman Singh, a resident of Village Bhajaun (Post Office Kodga, Tehsil Kamrau). He was serving as a revenue official in Dhaula Kuan.
