New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- A dispute among friends turned a casual meeting into a deadly incident after a man was allegedly stabbed to death at Dhobi Ghat near LNJP Hospital in central Delhi in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, police said.
Police received information on Tuesday from LNJP Hospital regarding a medico-legal case involving an injured person, identified as Shivam Mathur, aged around 25.
Mathur, a resident of Dhobi Ghat near LNJP Hospital, had been brought to the hospital with stab injuries and was declared brought dead by the attending doctor.
According to a senior police official, the incident took place at around 11.40 pm on Monday in an area under the jurisdiction of LNJP Chowki of IP Estate Police Station.
