Kolkata, Aug. 27 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today expressed deep anguish over the natural disaster in Jammu and Kashmir and said she was very much worried due to casualties following landslides in that state.
"The natural disasters in Jammu and Kashmir (due to a landslide on the way to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple) have kept us worried and I express my solidarity for the people there," Banerjee said in a message.
Reports said the death toll in the Vaishno Devi landslide has gone up to 32, after disaster struck the route on the hilltop shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.
