Kolkata, Nov. 3 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today announced that the state's leading health assurance scheme, 'Swasthya Sathi', has achieved a major milestone, recording one crore hospital admissions as on October 31.
She pointed out that the residents, who opted for this health scheme of the state, have received cashless medical treatment valued at Rs13,156 crore under the initiative, with the entire cost borne by the state government.
