Kolkata, March 19 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday intensified her attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI), alleging "unprecedented" and "deeply alarming" interference in the state's administrative machinery ahead of the assembly elections.

In a strongly worded Facebook post, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo accused the poll body of acting with bias and undermining constitutional principles through large-scale transfers of senior officials.
