Atul KrishanNew Delhi, June 4 -- The Delhi Police investigation into the deadly Malviya Nagar guest house fire is now focusing on possible violations of building norms, fire safety regulations, licensing requirements, and operational irregularities at the Flourish Stay B&B where 21 people, mostly foreign nationals, lost their lives and several others sustained injuries.

Investigators have sought reports and inspections from multiple agencies, including the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), BSES, the District Magistrate (DM), and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), as part of a comprehensive probe into the circumstances that led to the tragedy on May 3.
