Hyderabad, June 15 -- Telangana Labour and Mines Minister Dr G Vivek Venkataswamy on Monday called for transforming efforts for the eradication of child labour into a mass social movement and urged all sections of society to work towards building a child labour-free Telangana.
Speaking at a programme organised to mark World Day Against Child Labour at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Baghlingampally, the Minister said every child belongs in school, not at work, and stressed that protecting childhood and ensuring quality education for all children is a collective responsibility.
