Bengaluru, Aug. 15 -- Cancer screening should become a routine and accessible healthcare intervention for people above 40, with greater emphasis on early detection, personalised risk assessment and preventive care, oncologists said here on Saturday.
The call came as ARC Cancer Hospital launched its 'Break Free from Cancer Fear' initiative on Independence Day, offering personalised screening for men and women above 40 and seeking to shift the focus from fear and stigma to early detection and informed healthcare decisions.
