Chandigarh, March 18 -- In a significant security operation, the Punjab Police Counter-Intelligence (CI) unit of Bathinda has neutralized a major terror threat with the arrest of two operatives and the recovery of two live hand grenades.
Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, confirmed the development on Wednesday, stating that the action is part of the ongoing state-wide crackdown to ensure public safety under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
