Chandigarh, Dec. 1 -- The Haryana government has implemented a significant reshuffle within the state police department, reassigning four senior IPS officers and issuing promotion orders for two others.

The changes aim to strengthen key administrative and enforcement units.

According to the new postings, IPS Ajay Singhal has been appointed Director General of the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, a role considered crucial in monitoring graft-related cases. IPS Alok Mittal has been named Managing Director of the Haryana Police Housing Corporation, along with the additional responsibility of Resident Commissioner for Haryana.
