Ranchi, March 1 -- Police in Ranchi conducted simultaneous raids across multiple police station areas, including Lalpur and Chutia, busting an alleged prostitution racket and arresting several women and customers.
Ranchi City SP Paras Rana said the raids were carried out following specific intelligence inputs about organised illegal activities operating in different parts of the city. Acting swiftly, police teams conducted coordinated searches at identified locations.
More than six women and several clients were detained during the operation. Most of the women are reportedly residents of Ranchi and Kolkata.
