Hyderabad, June 4 -- A major fire broke out in a shopping complex at Ameerpet on Thursday afternoon, triggering panic among shopkeepers and visitors in the busy commercial area.
According to police, the fire originated at the KSR Fashions store located on the second floor of the shopping complex near Metro Pillar No. 1043 and gradually spread to nearby shops.
On receiving information, Fire Department personnel rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control with the help of three fire engines. People present in the other shops and establishments in the complex were safely evacuated.
The incident led to a major traffic jam on the main road in Ameerpet, while thick smoke engulfed the surrounding area, causing inconvenience to locals...
