Jammu, Feb. 24 -- In a significant step towards strengthening rail connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir, Northern Railway has extended the operation of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express trains up to Jammu.
"The long-standing demand of the people of the region has now been fulfilled, bringing faster, safer and more reliable travel options to thousands of passengers," officials here said.
They said that responding to the demand of the people, Railways has now extended Vande Bharat trains up to Jammu, ensuring seamless connectivity between Jammu and the Kashmir Valley.
