Thane, April 19 -- A major fire broke out early Sunday at a warehouse located in Diva along the Shilphata-Mahape Road.
The incident occurred at the Shamim Compound near Nawaz Dhaba, where flames rapidly engulfed the facility. Despite the intensity of the blaze and significant property loss, officials confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported.
According to the Thane Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management Cell, the alert was received at around 6:44 AM from the Shil Fire Station. The affected structure, a 4,500 square foot warehouse owned by Rizwan Ali, was primarily used for storing scrap cardboard and was equipped with a hydraulic paper baling press machine.
