Chandigarh, March 3 -- Senior SAD leader and former Minister Bikram Singh Majithia levelled serious allegations on Tuesday against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing the state government of misusing public funds for political promotion.

In a statement shared on his social media platforms, Majithia alleged that the Punjab government treasury has been used over the past four years to advance the ruling party's political interests.

He claimed that earlier, government schools and hospitals across the state were painted in blue and yellow - colours associated with AAP - following official instructions issued by the government, a move that had drawn criticism from several quarters.
