New Delhi, June 1 -- : Maj Gen Rachel Thomas assumed the appointment of Additional Director General, Military Nursing Service (ADG MNS) on Monday, succeeding Maj Gen Lissamma PV, who superannuated after four decades of service in the Military Nursing Service.
An alumna of the College of Nursing, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Maj Gen Rachel Thomas was commissioned into the Military Nursing Service on 01 June 1988. During her distinguished career spanning nearly four decades, she has held a wide range of clinical and administrative appointments across Military Hospitals under the Armed Forces Medical Services.
