Aligarh, Oct. 11 -- The main accused in the sensational murder case of TVS bike showroom owner Abhishek Gupta has been arrested by the police. Mahamandleshwar Pooja Shakuntala Pandey, accused of orchestrating the killing by hiring contract killers, was taken into custody today following weeks of evading arrest.
According to police reports, Abhishek Gupta, a resident of Kachora in the Sikandra Rao area of Hathras district and the owner of a TVS motorcycle showroom in Khair (Aligarh), was shot dead on September 26 by assailants on a motorcycle at Khereshwar Chauraha.
