Hyderabad, April 21 -- The Telangana State Mahila Congress on Tuesday organised a postcard signature campaign at Gandhi Bhavan, demanding immediate implementation of the Women's Reservation Act, 2023.
Held under the slogan "Mahila Aarakshan Bill: Aaj Karo, Abhi Karo", the campaign saw participants send postcards to the Prime Minister's Office urging enforcement of 33 per cent reservation for women in the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats.
Addressing the gathering, Telangana State Mahila Congress president Errabelli Swarna said the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023, passed by Parliament, should be implemented without delay.
