Mumbai, June 13 -- Maharashtra's political landscape is once again abuzz with speculation as rumours of an alleged 'Operation Tiger', a strategic move by the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena to engineer defections within the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction, have gained significant momentum.

Insiders claim that as many as seven out of the nine UBT MPs are in contact with the Shinde camp, with the strategy allegedly involving offers of key positions, including potential berths in the union Cabinet.
