Mumbai, Oct. 12 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today expressed grief over the death of veteran Marathi actress and dancer Madhu Kambikar, paying tribute to her contribution to traditional folk arts, theatre and cinema.
Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar and Cultural Affairs Minister Advocate Ashish Shelar also mourned her demise, describing it as a major loss to Maharashtra's cultural and artistic community.
In his condolence message, Fadnavis said Kambikar's artistic journey extended from traditional folk performances and theatre to the film industry.
