Pune, Nov. 9 -- Celebrating his 26th birthday in style, opener Prithvi Shaw continued his brilliant run in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season by scoring a fluent 71 against Karnataka, reaffirming his revival in domestic cricket since moving from Mumbai to Maharashtra.

The right-hander, who has been in exceptional touch this season, struck his third half-century alongside a memorable 222 against Chandigarh earlier in the campaign. Today, Shaw's brisk 92-ball knock provided Maharashtra with an ideal start before wickets tumbled in quick succession.
