Mumbai, Sept. 9 -- The Maharashtra unit of the BJP today dispatched daily necessities, food grains, and other relief material to support the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state president Ravindra Chavan symbolically flagged off the first truck carrying the relief material from the state BJP office.
Fadnavis said that the state BJP is committed to the rehabilitation of people affected by the floods in Jammu and Kashmir. He added that Chavan had spoken to the Jammu and Kashmir BJP president to understand the needs of the people there, and the required materials were being sent accordingly.
