Mumbai, May 13 -- The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) carried out a major statewide operation on Wednesday, launching coordinated raids across multiple cities targeting individuals allegedly linked to Pakistan-based gangster Shahzad Bhatti and the Dogar gang.

The simultaneous raids began around 8 am and covered key urban centres across Maharashtra.

According to ATS officials, raids were conducted in Nalasopara, Mira Road, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Akola, Nanded, Nashik and Jalgaon as part of the operation targeting networks suspected to be associated with the gangsters either directly or through social media platforms.
