Mumbai, Apr 29 ( UNI) The Maharashtra State Cabinet has officially announced that every rickshaw and taxi driver operating in the state must possess knowledge of the Marathi language.To facilitate this transition for non-native drivers, the government has launched a special "Marathi Guidance Booklet."The Marathi guidance booklets will be made available across all Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) in the state. August 15th is the final deadline for drivers to acquire basic proficiency in the language.
