Solapur, Dec. 1 -- Five people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a car and a truck on the Barshi-Latur Highway in Solapur district on Sunday night. The accident took place near the Jambhalbet bridge, police said.
According to Barshi Police, the car was carrying seven passengers, including a newly married couple from Panvel. The couple - Aniket Gautam Kamble (28) and his wife Meghna Aniket Kamble - had married just five days earlier and were travelling with five relatives to visit a temple in Tuljapur.
