Kolhapur, May 1 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday took potshots at the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), saying when the MVA was in power it missed the "link" of the state's development, but the current Mahayuti goverment has not only connected it but also created a new connectivity that has directly accelerated development.
Shinde was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the "Missing Link" project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway today, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Shinde said that there were many difficulties and challenges in executing this project.
"This proved that any project can be completed if there is willpower and government support," he said.
