Mumbai, Nov. 8 -- Spearheading the INDIA opposition's charge, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce attack on the Devendra Fadnavis-headed Maharashtra government, alleging that government land worth Rs 1,800 crore which was reserved for Dalits, was sold to a firm, linked to a state minister's son for a mere Rs 300 crore.

Maha Vikas Aghadi constituents have demanded the dismissal of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, whose son Parth Pawar was involved in the alleged Mundhwa-Koregaon Park land grabbing scam.

Gandhi described this as "land theft" sanctioned by the authorities and claimed that stamp duty on the deal was waived as a favour.
