Mumbai, June 21 -- Ahead of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly's Monsoon Session, scheduled to begin on Monday, June 22, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) boycotted the traditional "tea party" hosted by the state government.
Instead, the MVA submitted a six-page memorandum to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, raising various issues including farm loan waivers, the NEET exam controversy, and the appointment of the Leader of the Opposition.
Following the boycott, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed a press conference, where he launched a sharp critique of the opposition's strategy.
