Nagpur, Aug. 26 -- In a significant boost to aviation training in Vidarbha, the Maharashtra government has sanctioned a grant of Rs 49.55 lakh for the Nagpur flying club for the financial year 2025-26.

According to a Government Resolution (GR) issued on August 25, the allocation will cover aircraft maintenance, fuel, salaries, and infrastructure upkeep-key components for one of the state's oldest aviation training institutes.

Of the total, Rs 39.96 lakh has been earmarked as non-salary grants, while Rs 9.59 lakh will go toward salary-related expenses.
