Parbhani, Aug. 30 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today said the Mahayuti government had initiated the process of delivering justice to the Maratha community and was committed to providing reservation to Marathas without reducing the quota of any other community.
Addressing a Shiv Sena farmers' gathering organised by Parbhani MP Sanjay Jadhav, Shinde said the government was still holding discussions with Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil to find a solution to the issue.
The gathering had come under controversy after Jarange Patil warned that it should be cancelled in view of the ongoing agitation at Antarwali Sarati over the demand related to Kunbi certificates. He had also said that if the programme was ...
