Mumbai, Aug. 31 -- The eco-friendly Ganesh murti installed at the residence of Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan was immersed today in an artificial pond at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, a statement from the Governor's Secretariat said.
The Governor joined Raj Bhavan staff, officers, and guests in performing the aarti of Lord Ganesha before bidding farewell to the God of Wisdom. He then personally immersed the idol in a decorated artificial pond in front of his residence.
