Nagpur/Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed all government departments to expedite the recruitment process for vacant posts in tribal (PESA) areas and ensure that the exercise is completed within the next six months.
Chairing a review meeting on Tuesday on vacancies in tribal regions, Fadnavis instructed departments to submit within two weeks comprehensive details of employees currently working against supernumerary posts, retired personnel in such positions, and the original sanctioned posts that remain vacant.
The Chief Minister noted that several employees were shifted to supernumerary posts after being relieved from their original positions in compliance with Supreme Court directives.
