Mumbai, May 25 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday assured citizens that the state government is making all possible efforts to maintain a smooth supply of petrol and diesel, amid the global fuel crisis.

Speaking to reporters after the inauguration of the renovated Maharashtra State Jawahar Bal Bhavan building in Mumbai, CM Fadnavis appealed to the public not to indulge in panic buying or hoarding, which has already triggered a sudden 20 percent spike in domestic fuel demand.
