Washim, Sept. 10 -- A perverted teacher of a Zilla Parishad school in Maharashtra's Washim district has been arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly sexually abusing 14 minor girl students over the past several months, police said on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Dilip Borkar (56), was posted at a primary school in Kata village of Mangrulpir taluka. The case came to light after several students reportedly informed a woman teacher about the alleged harassment.
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly showed obscene videos to the girls on his mobile phone, touched them inappropriately, and threatened them with consequences if they disclosed the incidents to anyone.
