Mumbai, July 16 -- A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 17-year-old girlfriend in Mumbai's Kandivali East after reportedly planning the crime by watching episodes of the television crime show Crime Patrol, police said on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Pratiksh Singh. According to the police, he was in a relationship with the Class XII student for the past two years.
However, frequent arguments had developed between the two in recent months, and the accused allegedly suspected that the girl was planning to end the relationship.
