Mumbai, July 19 -- In a joint operation by Railway Protection Force (RPF) Panvel, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and the Crime Intelligence Branch (CIB), Mumbai, a Nigerian woman was arrested with narcotics worth over Rs 36 crore, officials said here on Saturday.

On specific information three investigating agencies formed a special squad to arrest the woman who was found with drugs concealed in a handbag at the Panvel railway station in the neighbouring city.

After arrest, the woman was booked under the NDPS Act and was produced before the special court, which has remanded her into police custody.
