Mumbai, June 10 -- Telecom sevices provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) informed the stock exchange in a regulatory filing here today that the Bombay High Court has quashed the one-time spectrum charge (OTSC) demand raised by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) against the company and its erstwhile subsidiary Spice Communications, which has provided the company a relief of Rs 2,113 crores.
According to the Vi statement, the Bombay High Court has ordered the return of bank guarantees furnished to the DoT after it had levied one-time spectrum charges for radio spectrum holdings beyond 6.2 MHz.
