Dhule, March 30 -- Thunderstorm, accompanied by hail, swept across Dhule city and several other parts of the district today, which provided much-needed relief to residents from the sweltering heat.
The unseasonal rainfall, which began around 4 PM, lasted for approximately one hour.
The Meteorological Department had previously forecast the possibility of heavy rainfall for March 30. In line with these predictions, the weather in Dhule shifted abruptly around 4:35 PM, giving way to a storm; within just a few minutes, heavy rains began to pour down.
The heavy downpour was accompanied by strong winds and stormy conditions. Consequently, some people-including farmers-were seen rushing to take cover.
