Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray today called an urgent meeting at his Bandra East residence called 'Matroshree', sources said here, after an Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena leader and minister claimed that as many as 14 Uddhav-led Shiv Sena MLAs will defect to join the Shinde-led Sena, before the forthcoming Navratri festival, which begins on Sunday, 11 October.

The urgent meeting at Uddhav Thackeray's residence began at 12 pm noon and discussions are on with Shiv Sena MLAs and key party office bearers, sources said.

According to sources, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde who flew to New Delhi today, has entrusted the responsibility of pulling off another phase of 'Operation Tiger' to poach 14 MLAs, out of the total 20 MLAs fro...
