Kolhapur, March 10 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today arrested a head constable and a constable for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs seven lakh from a complainant.

Arrested accused, identified as Nitesh Maruti Kamble, head constable, and Eajaja Mahamad Sheikh, constable, both attached to Gokul-Shirgaon police station in Karveer tehsil of this district, had demanded Rs seven lakh from a complainant for not filing a cheating case against him, a press release said here.
