Dhule, Aug. 28 -- A dispute between two groups from the Muslim community over a controversial social media status escalated into stone-pelting in Garib Nawaz Nagar of Dondaicha, Dhule today, in which three police personnel, including a police sub-inspector and two policemen, were reportedly injured.
According to preliminary information, the controversy began after Hasim Nisar Kakar, a resident of Garib Nawaz Nagar, allegedly posted a controversial status on social media concerning Prophet Muhammad. After the post came to light, members of one group went to Kakar's residence seeking an explanation. Meanwhile, another group also gathered at the spot, leading to a heated confrontation between the two sides.
