Kolhapur, July 7 -- Two Medical Representatives (MRs) were killed on the spot and two other persons were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a car in Tavandi Ghat section on Pune-Bangalore national highway near Maharashtra-Karnataka border early today.
According to sources in city police, the deceased, identified as Sohel Abdul Maner (36), a resident of Phulewadi in the city, who was an MR of Indoco Remidij Limited pharma company, was returning with three other MRs from Konkan. In Tavandi Ghat section, a speeding truck collided head-on vigorously with their car.
