Dhule, Feb. 19 -- Three people died and as many injured following a major brawl between two groups during pre-wedding preparations over a minor dispute in the district in northwest Maharashtra, police said.

While preparations for 'Sakhar Puda' (engagement) and 'Haldi' were underway, a fight broke out between two groups, resulting in the killing of three people in Neelkanth Nagar of Pimpalner taluka of the district on Wednesday evening.

In the grievous attack. Devendra Gyaneshwar Pawar, Suresh Mojgir Gosavi and Sahil Suresh Gosavi were seriously injured after being attacked with sharp weapons. They all died during treatment.
