Nashik, April 9 -- Through the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, a 'Social Equality Week' is being celebrated in the district from April 8 to April 14, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
This information was provided by the Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare, Devidas Nandgaonkar.
The primary objective of this initiative is to disseminate information regarding the various welfare schemes of the Department of Social Justice to the general public and to create public awareness.
