Mumbai, June 25 -- A massive political controversy has erupted in Maharashtra after Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MP Sanjay Dina Patil allegedly used abusive language and threatened journalists, drawing sharp criticism from across the political spectrum.
The incident, which has left the ruling Eknath Shinde-led faction red-faced, prompted senior alliance leaders to initiate urgent damage control measures to quell the growing public and media outcry.
